It would be a mistake to neglect the Nakuru reserve just because it is located near this big Kenyan city. This national park is home to a few species that are worth visiting, not to mention the lake, which brings a very special atmosphere.
You will find in Nakuru a varied fauna with in particular many birds and rare species of mammals. At favorable times, the concentration of flamingos can be so dense that the edges of the lake are colored with an intense pink for hundreds of meters. Many other species frequent the riverbanks and forests bordering the lake like the white and pink pelicans. These wooded areas are also home to several varieties of kingfishers, fish eagles, crested eagles, and other augurates. The rare Rothschild giraffes share the space with zebras, buffaloes, and impalas that feed lions, leopards, and hyenas under the indifferent gaze of white and black rhinos.

Driven by the group, in a hodgepodge of bellows and splashes, some rush dangerously from the banks while others swim within reach of the jaws of monstrous crocodiles patiently settled, waiting for their time. A spectacle as grandiose as cruel.
